Magpie GET A GRIP - our HEMA FREE rubber base layer. GET A GRIP is a thicker formula to our standard base layer (ALL ABOUT THE BASE). This helps to give extra protection to weak and brittle nails with excellent flexibility and great for covering unevenness of natural nails. Whilst you can go straight onto the natural nail with our GET A GRIP colours, for clients needing maximum adhesion we do recommend to use a layer of clear first, then adding our coloured versions if you would like to create the perfect cover base.
With 1 coat GET A GRIP can be used for natural nail overlays or as a base layer for builder gel, structure gel and acrygel.
Apply 2 layers for a structured manicure.
Magpie GET A GRIP is easy soak off formula.
Cure time is 60s LED. It is recommended to use GET A GRIP alongside the Magpie lamp to ensure full curing of the product. For further advise please contact your Magpie educator or email us [email protected]
How to use: Prep your nails and scrub with Magpie Prep & Dehydrate. Apply a thin layer to the nail. Cure for 60 seconds in your LED Lamp. If you require extra structure and support apply a second layer. Magpie GET A GRIP can be used on its own or alongside Magpie GIVE ME STRENGTH, BUILD ME UP & our Acrygel System - PERFECT POLY, simply apply them to the tacky layer. GET A GRIP is a easy soak off formula. To remove file the top to break the surface and soak. If you are removing it alongside one of our enhancement products, file to a thin layer or until you are close to the GET A GRIP layer and soak.
Soak off Structure Gel/Natural Nail Builder Gel
Give me Strength Soak off Structure/Natural Nail Builder Gel gel does exactly as it says on the bottle! It gives your Magpie Manicure extra strength and is perfect for clients that need that extra support and structure with their gel polish.
Directions
After thorough nail preparation apply a layer of Magpie GET A GRIP (any colour) and cure for 60 seconds (LED), apply 1 or 2 coats of Magpie GIVE ME STRENGTH (60 seconds cure for each layer, LED). Apply more layers if desired to build more structure and a apex for support. Once cured you should have a smooth even surface. If you do need to refine the surface, remove the tacky layer with Magpie Prep and Dehydrate and then gently file with a 240 grit zebra file. Then apply your chosen Magpie Gel Colour and finish with Magpie top coat.
For best nail results we recommend using the Magpie Gel Colour Lamp alongside Magpie Gel Colour
