The +maskology PHOTON LED Mask uses 108 light beds and 5 LED light therapy colours to deliver high density, high intensity energy to the skin. 

This tool is a great way to maximise on treatment time, whilst also ensuring return on investment. LED Facial Treatments are averagely priced from £30-£60 and we recommend 2 treatments per week per client for the best results. If your business were to average 10 treatments per week, you could look to see a return of up to £2,400 in revenue per month.

How to Use

Fully charge the handheld controller before first use.
Using the velcro bands, attach the straps to the side of the mask and insert the eye shields.
Plug the cable into the port of the handheld controller.
Cleanse your skin and dry with a towel.
Hold the mask close to your face to position for best fit. Using the straps, fasten the velcro at the back of your head. You can adjust the bands to ensure a snug fit.
You want to ensure that the eye shields are secure to your face to prevent light leak.
Press and hold the power button for 2 seconds to turn on the mask.
Press the power button to select a different mode and use the time selection button to choose your treatment time. You can select 10, 20 or 30 minutes.
When the time has elapsed, the device will switch itself off. If you want to turn off the device during the process , hold the power button for 2 seconds.
Finish your skincare routine with a sheet mask, serum, moisturiser or oil.
Repeat 3-5 times per week for the best results.


Charging

Connect the controller to an adapter plug using the USB charging cable.
Plug into the power supply. The screen will light up and the battery symbol will scroll while charging.
Charging time is 2.5 hours.
A solid battery symbol represents a full charge. Do not overcharge - disconnect from the power supply when this shows.

If fully charged the controller time is around 1 hour for blue light or red light. If using the Infrared light or purple light mode, the battery lift time is around 30-40 minutes.

Advisories

Use a dry cloth or alcohol free wet wipes to clean. Do not rinse under water as the mask is not waterproof. DO NOT use any other cleansing products other than those stated. Use of other cleansing products may damage the +maskology PHOTON LED MASK
Store the device in a cool, dry space out of direct sunlight or high temperatures.
Keep out of reach of children.
Never attempt to open or repair the device yourself.
The straps contain a mixture of polyester, nylon and lycra. If you are allergic to any of these materials, you may not be able to use the straps.
The mask cannot be used while it is in the charging mode.
Store the +maskology PHOTON LED MASK flat and at room temperature in dry conditions, away from direct sunlight.

DO NOT use it without first removing creams, serums, lotions, and make-up BEFORE treatment. Some ingredients in these products may cause light sensitisation or may reduce the effect of the treatment. If you use The +maskology PHOTON LED MASK without first removing these products, you may cause a skin reaction, damage your device, or you may reduce the effect of the LED treatment.
DO NOT attempt to modify The +maskology PHOTON LED MASK in any way. Modifying The +maskology PHOTON LED MASK will void your warranty. Modifying The +maskology PHOTON LED MASK could cause an electric shock when the device is used again. The device contains no serviceable parts.
TURN OFF and REMOVE The +maskology PHOTON LED MASK immediately if it feels hot or if your skin feels uncomfortably warm. The The +maskology PHOTON LED MASK does not produce any heat.
DO NOT use the +maskology PHOTON LED MASK
If you are particularly sensitive to light.
If you are pregnant, planning on becoming pregnant or breastfeeding. The risk to the foetus, neonate or pregnant women is unknown
If you suffer from epilepsy
If you are currently using medication that can cause skin sensitivity to light
When sleeping, walking or driving.
If you suffer from light induced headaches.
To treat any other conditions apart from those listed in the indications for use.
If you suffer from lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism. If you use it to treat lupus erythematosus, photosensitive eczema or albinism you may cause a severe skin reaction.
If you suffer from any photosensitive disorder (sensitisation to light). If you use the mask and you suffer from a photosensitive disorder you may cause a severe skin reaction.
If you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity. If you use the mask and you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity you may cause a severe skin reaction.
If you suffer from any genetic conditions of the eye. Photosensitivity is a common side effect of various medications. These can include certain antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and diuretics. If you are unsure about any medication you may be taking, consult your healthcare provider.
In any way that is not exactly as specified in these instructions for use, other than exactly as specified in these instructions for use has not been tested and the risk is unknown.
If you think it may have come into contact with water. Keep away from HOT surfaces.
Near water or anywhere water can be spilt onto the equipment.
If the device, battery, or charging plug are damaged in any way.

DO NOT use

If you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity.
If you are taking any medication that can cause photosensitivity you may cause a severe skin reaction. Photosensitivity is a common side effect of various medications. These can include certain antibiotics, chemotherapy drugs, and diuretics.
If you suffer from any diseases that involve the retina of the eye, (such as diabetes)
If you suffer from light induced headaches and or Migraines
If you use Isotretinoin (Anti-Acne), also known as Accutane in the last 5 days there is a small chance of a light reaction.
If you are taking any medication that is listed or that fall under the these categories, Anti-Arthritic, Immunosuppressant, Quinidine, Anti-Cancer, Anticonvulsants, Antifungals, Anti-histamines, Anti-hypertensives, Anti-malarial, Anti-psychotics, Anti-retroviral, Anti-viral, Cardiovascular, Lipid regulators, Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory Analgesics, Sedatives,Acne Skin agents such as Isotretinoin/ Tretinoin topical or Tazarotene Hair Skin agents such as Minoxidil (Rogaine)
If you are unsure about any medication you may be taking, consult your healthcare provider.

Other substances not listed above can also cause photosensitivity. Common examples of these substances are St John's Wort, Coal tar, deodorants, antibacterial soaps, artificial sweeteners, naphthalene (moth balls), petroleum products, brightening agents found in laundry detergent, and cadmium sulphide (a chemical injected into the skin during tattooing. We would advise that if you are on any sort of medication or had any recent surgery you contact your Doctor before commencing any sort of light therapy
